how to have an aromatherapy environment in my own home?what are the best fragrances?

Posted by admin on July 12th, 2010 and filed under aromatherapy | 2 Comments »

and what are the best herbs plus other ingredients too add in your own bath oils, salts etc?anyone who here loves aromatherapy as much as i do and has some knowledge on the subject can you please give me some good pointers?i also plan on building up a stock of goodies in my room (that have fragrance) that’s inviting, invigorating and uplifting.oh and can i use them scented candles that are cheap?instead of the actual expensive aromatherapy ones?

If you want uplifting and invigorating scents go with citrus smells. Unfortunately using the cheap scented candles isn’t going to give you a long lasting scent, I would suggest getting an oil diffuser, you can get them at Wal-Mart for a reasonable price. If you are just looking for a good smell Bath and Body works have some excellent fragrance oils that you can burn for a long lasting good scent. If you want to really get into aromatherapy then you need 100% pure essential oils and they can be quite costly and you need to know what properties they have because some may not work for you! For instance burning citrus essential oils may prevent you from relaxing and getting a good nights sleep. If you want more info on essential oils feel free to e-mail or IM me. Good Luck!

Where can I buy Aromatherapy of Rome candles?

Posted by admin on July 6th, 2010 and filed under aromatherapy | 1 Comment »

I used to buy two candles from the Aromatherapy of Rome brand: Meditation and Sensual. I can’t seem to find them anywhere. The retailers I used to buy from do not carry them anymore. Do you know where I can buy these candles or have you found a similar brand that you like as much? I’m so addicted to these scents I’d love to find them or something similar. The Sensual candle contained a blend of neroli, patchouli, and ylang ylang essential oils. Thanks for your help!

Google Ethos candles. They are in a place called Mere on the wiltshire /dorset border. You could find out their number and ask what type of candles they sell. They may even do mail order. Apart from that i don’t really know.

Do you have to be licensed in aromatherapy or essential oils to offer services in Alabama?

I am a certified equine therapist doing nutritional reflexology, energy balancing, accupressure, and raindrop on horses. To offer services, for humans, using essential oils – aromatherapy? Or, will certification alone be satisfactory?

How does Aromatherapy work exactly?

Posted by admin on June 30th, 2010 and filed under aromatherapy | 4 Comments »

I have some creams, sprays, body washes from bath and body works with essential oils in them from their aromatherapy section. Do I just sniff the spray lol? for how long? how long does it take to see results?

While some infantile people need robust answers because of repressed homophobic feelings, you may just trust your own feeling.

I usually use a diffuser and pure essential oils. About body washes and sprays, sometimes they don’t contain the pure essential.

How it exactly works? I don’t care. I just know it gives me some change in feeling, and it quickly does. I don’t need an explanation, and I don’t use too much, as too much of anything is not good,
It’s also a sign of a harmful attitude. Be patient in this matter, and stay with yourself, don’t search too much help, I have the impression you are a little desperate and searching, searching…
Be patient, let go, drop your shoulders, be silent, and just observe the pains you feel, they are old pains, just observe them, they are JUST feelings.
I don’t know if it works like medicine, because I never have to take any medicine since I am working with natural things, and am taking care of myself with meditation and some esoteric stuff.
Sometimes people want me to take medicine so I could work again very quickly, but I prefer to just wait one day in silence and observe the disease, do some stuff, and after a day the dis-ease is gone.

I do however know that emotions are important in dis-ease so I am alert not to create my own dramas and I inform people on this, however that’s the difficult part in letting go. I was very allergic to mentally retarded people as skeptics and other so called scientific people. Now my judgment transformed in discernment, and I accept their ignorance, it’s just a different level of awareness.

I found this list for abuse :
survivor – amyris, aniseed_china_star, benzoin, camphor, champaka, cinnamon, clary sage, cypress, elemi, ginger, helichrysum, honeysuckle, jasmine, litsea, lotus, oakmoss, peru balsam, ravensara, roman chamomile, rose musk, rosewood, sage, spike lavender, tagetes marigold; tansy, tuberose; vanilla, vetyver, zinziba,
on this very interesting site :

Please take care of yourself, be patient, and just observe in silence.
