I have been searching on the internet for how to make candles or soap but it is not very clear what ingredients (wax, gel wax, glycerin) I need to use and where I can get them.
Has anyone made candles or soap before?? I need to hear from someone who knows exactly where I can get the ingredients and a clear method for making them.
Help!
Candle making is a good hobby to have I started by buying a basic kit from a craft shop, and gradually expanded from there .
Another person (CHRYSTIAN ) has listed some sites for you to visit if you don’t have any craft shops in your town, but start with a basic kit with full instructions on melting and various equipment to use.Instructions are important as you can get things wrong if the mixture is wrong for example burning with black smoke or burning too quick also there is different thickness of wicks depending on the candle you want to make.and much more so a book of some sort is a good start, It’s realy quite easy with the proper tools etc.
I hope you find a shop or site to purchase the materials good luck.
because i m going to start my home business making candles but i m not sure what type of wax i should use??
There are other vegetable-based waxes in addition to soy that you could use. I would definitely go with a plant-based waxes that are made from renewable resources.instead of paraffin which is a petroleum based product.
I have some creams, sprays, body washes from bath and body works with essential oils in them from their aromatherapy section. Do I just sniff the spray lol? for how long? how long does it take to see results?
While some infantile people need robust answers because of repressed homophobic feelings, you may just trust your own feeling.
I usually use a diffuser and pure essential oils. About body washes and sprays, sometimes they don’t contain the pure essential.
How it exactly works? I don’t care. I just know it gives me some change in feeling, and it quickly does. I don’t need an explanation, and I don’t use too much, as too much of anything is not good,
It’s also a sign of a harmful attitude. Be patient in this matter, and stay with yourself, don’t search too much help, I have the impression you are a little desperate and searching, searching…
Be patient, let go, drop your shoulders, be silent, and just observe the pains you feel, they are old pains, just observe them, they are JUST feelings.
I don’t know if it works like medicine, because I never have to take any medicine since I am working with natural things, and am taking care of myself with meditation and some esoteric stuff.
Sometimes people want me to take medicine so I could work again very quickly, but I prefer to just wait one day in silence and observe the disease, do some stuff, and after a day the dis-ease is gone.
I do however know that emotions are important in dis-ease so I am alert not to create my own dramas and I inform people on this, however that’s the difficult part in letting go. I was very allergic to mentally retarded people as skeptics and other so called scientific people. Now my judgment transformed in discernment, and I accept their ignorance, it’s just a different level of awareness.

Please take care of yourself, be patient, and just observe in silence.
I was just wondering what essential oil do you use in your henna to make it darker? Also which are the safest to use and the easiest to find in stores? Thanks all in advance!

Lavender is the most gentle, easy to find, and cheap. It’s not as strong for darkening as others, but it’s a great choice for sensitive skin and pregnant women and is stronger than many other oils. Any essential oil that’s safe for skin and contains terpines is what you need. Tea tree, cajeput, and ravensera are probably the strongest and best terps, but only ravensera has a nice smell. Tea tree and cajeput both have a methol, mediciney smell. There’s lots of lesser terps that are useful, and often I’ll use them along with either tea tree or cajeput to tone down the strong smell. Lavender, clove bud oil (only for non-sensitive skin), cypress, cardamom, and geranium are all good terps, and things like neroli, pine, basil, rosemary and a few others have some terps and will help somewhat with darkening. For about half a cup of henna, about 5g of powder, I use about ten drops of tea tree or cajeput, then about 10 drops clove bud because I love the smell. But for sensitive people I’ll use about 15 drops of lavender instead.
Citrus oils are phototoxic and shouldn’t be used, neither should camphor or cinnamon. Clove bud is a good terp and smells wonderful to most people (cookies!) but it can be irritating for some people. Use it sparingly and make sure it’s clove bud, not just clove oil. BTW, eucalyptus is crap and won’t help darkening. And no essential oil rubbed on the skin will help either, it has to be put into the paste. I’m just saying since that’s a common ingredient in cheap henna kits. There are some eucalyptus that does have enough terps to darken henna stain, but most do not, and it’s not any cheaper than better terps.
Lavender, clove bud, and tea tree aren’t very expensive, neroli and ravensera can be quite expensive, although they smell so nice it’s worth it. Make sure you buy aromatherapy grade pure essential oils, not combined with a carrier oil like grapeseed or almond oil. Essential oils won’t solidify in the fridge, but carrier oils will, so if it ends up looking like wax it’s not pure. Keep your oils in the fridge and buy them in brown or blue bottles that will keep out the light.
How can you get essential oils if you don’t like oily foods, but need them because your skin is drying out, and lotion isn’t doing anything for you?
fish oil capsules
flax seed oil capsules
nuts (walnuts, almonds, cashews)
eat some fish (especially salmon)
all natural peanut butter
also, make sure you are hydrated (atleast 3 liters of pure water per day)
Why is there a difference between the perfumes or sprays of men and women? What is the reason behind this?
womens fragrences are more feminine and i’m not sure which man would like to smell like a garden of roses.
I love buying new perfumes and I love all the scents, but whenever I spray it on before school, by the time I get to first period I can’t smell it anymore. What are some techniques to make the scent last longer? I know I need to spray it on again every so often but when I spray a lot I smell too bad. So anyway, I just want to keep the scent lightly on my skin so that when I go by you’ll be able to smell my perfume and not choke
Thanks !
rub a little petroleum jelly on the places you plan on spraying the perfume(neck, wrists, etc.) the spray your perfume on those spots

I have oils for making candles but dont have time today, and I have company coming over and want it to smell nice in here. thanks
Put a drop or two on a lightbulb and turn on the lamp for 10 minutes or so in each room you want to smell fresh.
Anyone use this method and if so, do you find that the ring falls off at the slightest movement spilling oil everywhere? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your input!
Nope, I thought they were such a great idea, so I bought them for all of the lamps in my bedroom, livingroom and family room. You aren’t doing anything wrong, I had exactly the same thing happen. At first, I couldn’t figure out where all of the oil was coming from. But, then I realized every time my housekeeper came and dusted the tables those lamps were situated on, the oil went everywhere.
You can get these felt and terra cotta diffusers which work sort of the same way without the mess. You soak them in the oil for awhile, blot on newspaper or paper towel to remove the drips, place it on the lightbulb and every time you turn on the light you smell the scent. I prefer the felt ones because I have two rambuncuous doggies and a vigorous housekeeper and have had the terra cotta ones fall and break. I’ve found the felt ones at the home improvement stores and the bed/bath stores (Linen N Things, Bed Bath & Beyond).
