Scents

Some of my molds make the candles a little rough around the edges, I would like to smooth them out.

Dip them in very hot water for a second.

I use good soy wax chips and oil, follow all directions…but they just dont throw any scent. When they cool after being poured and i light them sometimes there are holes in the candle? Whats that about? Please help i thought this would be a fun activity for me and the family. Didnt think it would be so hard.

It is not easy to make a good candle, especially from soy. It often doesn’t give off a good scent throw. Some candle makers who want to have a "green" clean-burning candle have switched to vegetable wax blends including palm, coconut or other plant-based waxes.

After I put this on do I rinse or wash it off. I want all natural ingredient. Also where are some good essential oil websites where I can buy cheap, but also is made of good quality?

Massage essential oil into your face, the oil will not clog your pores because the molecules are too big.

I apply essential oils to my scalp (scalp massage) and the rest of my hair a few times a week. Is this ok?

My stylist told me to be careful about putting oils on my hair, because they coat the hair shaft and cause build up. But everyone’s different. If you do get build up, just use a clarifying shampoo.

I really like citrusy perfumes, but they can’t be too expensive. I love grapfruit scents also, so does anyone know of some cheaper perfumes that are citrusy?

I thought that the spirit perfume smelled like the store cause everyone said so.

But once I got it, it smells nothing a like and is wayy too strong.

What do they spray on their clothes?

Hello….I want to make fragranced candle….I use fragrance oils used in soaps and potpouries….some of them don’t solve in wax either higher centigerade degrees or lower degrees of wax and some others solve but change the transparent color of my wax…….please help me with this question..TNX

the oils that darken your wax have either a very low boiling point, or a strong pigment. it is probably better to scent the wicks strongly, and then make your candle as you would normally…
